This is how the Askim Group LLC got started. One year my wife was decorating our home for the holidays and I noticed the stockings hanging. Every year she would put them up in the same order from oldest to youngest. The stockings had the letters of our first names: myself, Andre, then my wife Shonda, then our oldest son Kedar, our second oldest, our daughter Imani, and our youngest son Micah. 

I decided to look up the word for our initials because I felt in my heart that it meant something. Lo and behold, the word Askim means "my love". This was our beginning. 

As a family, we wanted to inspire and teach others our principles of faith, family, fitness, and finance. We wanted to share our principles of striving to become our best version of ourselves in this world. It's important that we express our love for ourselves, others, to allow and respect differences, and to live out expressing our genius, and being authentically true to who we claim to be. 

As a Financial Professional, Holistic Business Coach, PSYCH-K® Facilitator and PQ® Coach, I've noticed that most of my clients were like me in their journey throughout life. I had personally lacked the confidence and faith that I was worthy and could change my life. I struggled as a father and a husband in the past by allowing my past and cultural traumas to almost destroy my family. I struggled with my health, wellness, and my finances. This is why, underneath all of the professional work I do, it's about me really getting down to the true essence of why I am here. It is to become my best self and guide others towards that same journey.
